What EuroCarIndex is
A free website with statistics on used-car asking prices and tools to estimate the cost of importing a car. It is for information only.
Not advice
The statistics describe asking prices advertised by dealers, not the price at which any car sold. The calculator gives indicative estimates. Nothing on this site is financial, tax or legal advice. Check the figures that matter to your decision with the competent authorities or a professional. See the tax disclaimer.
No guarantee
We work to keep the figures correct and the site available, but we provide them as they are, without any guarantee of accuracy, completeness or availability.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from the use of this site or from decisions based on it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Reusing the statistics
The published statistics are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0). Credit “EuroCarIndex” with a link to the page or file you used. The licence covers the statistics; the site’s text, design and logo are not covered unless stated.
Fair use of the tools
- Use the link check and the plate lookup for cars you are interested in, one at a time. Automated or bulk use is not allowed, and both tools are rate-limited.
- Only submit links to pages you are allowed to open.
- Do not use the tools to collect listings or to build a copy of another site’s data.
Other sites
We link to listings you submit and to official simulators. We are not responsible for the content of other sites.
