Data & methods

Cite, embed or request data

Every figure on EuroCarIndex is free to read and to cite. Link to the page you used, embed a chart that stays up to date, or ask us for a research extract.

Data as of 3 Nov 2026 Methodology v1.0.0 287,968 published figures

How to cite

Name EuroCarIndex as the source, give the data date and link to the page you used. Every model page has a citation line you can copy and a small table of its key figures.

EuroCarIndex, “Used Volkswagen Golf prices”, dealer asking prices, data as of 3 Nov 2026. https://eurocarindex.com/en/prices/volkswagen/golf/

Embed a chart that stays up to date

Every model page has an “Embed this chart” box. Copy the code into your article: the chart updates with our daily data and carries a link back to the full figures.

Example: Volkswagen Golf

Press and research data on request

Journalists, researchers and public bodies can ask for a custom extract: more detail, a time series or a market segment. Tell us what you need and what it is for.

Email the press desk press@eurocarindex.com

Files the site uses

Pages and embeds load small statistics files for one model at a time (JSON). They are working files for the site, not a bulk download, and their format may change without notice.

Bulk downloads (CSV and Parquet) are no longer offered; old download links lead to this page.
